This newsletter supports the Texas Tech From Here, It's Possible™ campaign by sharing stories that reflect its essence. Unlike previous editions, this version was coded by a vendor, requiring close coordination with project managers and developers.

The project brief had two main requirements: to feature an iconic Texas Tech University architectural element and to ensure the logo remained legible at half-inch size. After extensive testing and refinement, both goals were successfully achieved.

Literary Lubbock

project summary


The goal was to refresh the Literary Lubbock brand with a logo that could be reused annually. The final design features a conceptual icon, representing both an eye reading a book and the sun rising over a vast landscape. Print materials were designed for longevity, with layouts that allowed event staff to easily edit them by copying and pasting content.

"Free in Lubbock" is the first spread in the Visit Lubbock travel guide series and was created to showcase family-friendly spots in a fun, engaging way. The client liked the design and requested a similar approach for subsequent spreads. Adjustments were made to fit different content and to create unique variations.
