project summary
Texas Tech 100 served as the central hub for all things related to the university's centennial celebration. The homepage was designed to offer easy access to key celebration areas such as events, merchandise, volunteer opportunities, and more. The homepage also incorporated elements that showcased Texas Tech's rich history, such as an interactive slider featuring past and present imagery.
The project's internal pages provided more profound insights into the university's legacy, with a standout feature being the historical timeline. This page highlighted key milestones in Texas Tech's history, breaking down important events by decade for an engaging educational experience.
Due to the complex nature of the project—encompassing diverse content types and cross-departmental collaboration—the design and development required careful coordination. Extensive planning was necessary to align the expectations of the Centennial Committee, institutional objectives, and user needs.
The process began with extensive documentation and cloud-based asset sharing, followed by a structured UX/UI approach to ensure a streamlined workflow. This approach resulted in a carefully developed site that balanced both the depth of content and a user-friendly interface.
