project summary

Texas Tech Now is a dynamic platform designed for storytellers to showcase the unique stories that define Texas Tech University. This project is a complete reimagining of the previous story site managed by Marketing & Communications, with a focus on elevating both content and user experience.

The project is driven by four core goals: content quality, user-centric design, experience enhancements, and quality-of-life features. As a result, the redesigned site features an optimized UI that improves accessibility and readability. One of the standout features in this project is the AI-powered text-to-speech feature—an innovative addition that marks the first of its kind for Texas Tech websites.

The project has already undergone one minor update and remains in an active development phase. Future enhancements will include bookmarking functionality, infinite scrolling, refined article layouts, and additional features designed to further enhance user experience.

This project's full development process was presented at the Marketing & Communications Quarterly Team Meeting in September 2023.
